Hi, fellow creative! I’m Shelby, the author of 4 books, including the bestselling changing with the tides, a passionate poet and mental health advocate, and marketing mentor / cheerleader to over 8000 artists, authors, and makers.
When I started my creative endeavors online 9 years ago, I searched far and wide for a community to get support while learning how to market my products.
500,000 followers and thousands of sales later, plus 10 years of marketing and branding experience, I’ve built a creative business that supports me, my life, and has led me to incredible opportunities like international speaking events, and making a difference in the lives of my customers. So, I created Marketing by Shelby to serve up my marketing knowledge to others in an accessible way.
Because I’m a big believer that you can grow your creative business without burning out, and that marketing isn’t a chore but an extension of your creativity.
And because one of my biggest passions in life is watching big-hearted creatives, who’ve put their heart and soul into their products, learn how to market their work in a way that feels aligned, and make an impact and income along the way, too.
