Student FAQ

  • Returning students: We recommend bookmarking this login link: https://marketingbyshelby.com/login so you can login to your courses easily. You’ll also find a “Student Login” button in the menu of this website to make things easy for you too!

    New students: You will receive an email from Thrivecart with the subject line: “[Shelby Leigh] Verify your email to access your courses.”

    Please click the button in this email to set up your account. All you do is create your password, and click “Complete Registration” to be taken to your course dashboard!

    If you don’t receive the email, please use the link above and reset your password so you can log in.

  • If you aren’t able to login, please try clicking “forgot password” to reset your password. If you need help, please send an email to support@shelbyleigh.co with your name, email address, and a screenshot of the issue so we can troubleshoot.

  • Log into your course dashboard and scroll down - all courses shown in color are courses you have access to.

    If you know you purchased something that isn’t shown, it’s possible you used a different email and have two accounts. Send us an email if you’d like us to combine both accounts in one, and let us know which email is preferred.

    If you purchased an add-on such as the Hooks and Hacks bundle, or the Author Marketing Template pack, please refer to your original email confirmation when you purchased, which has links to access them in Google Docs. If you can’t find them, send us an email and we’ll share it with you!

Account access support

  • The TikTok mobile app has many more features than desktop. If you are following our TikTok guide, use the mobile app for the best results and experience.

  • By joining The Creative’s Content Club! Shelby is active in there weekly, answering member questions (general questions AND questions specific to you and your strategy), giving members’ feedback and more.

  • We’ve all heard the importance of niching down, but in the case of platforms like TikTok, it’s really true!

    The more different audiences you’re speaking to, the more unclear your message is. If you are wanting to use TikTok, I recommend focusing on one genre/niche only, and if you’d like to have a separate account for another genre/niche, do so once you have figured out what content works well for you.

    If you’d like to strategize on this for your business/brand, consider joining my membership community where you can ask me these questions in our private group, learn marketing strategies, and get support from Shelby.

  • Thank for your interest in working with me! I don’t manage social media accounts for others at this time. I truly believe it is in a person’s best interest to learn how to market themselves and their work. You will better learn what messaging is working for your products which helps other areas of marketing too!

    If you are looking for a social media manager, I am unfortunately not a good fit for your needs at this time.

Common questions

Membership Support for the Creative’s Content Club

  • Templates are delivered in Canva so all that’s needed is a free Canva account!

    We have a full tutorial video inside the Creative's Content Club called How to Use the Templates. Be sure to watch that so you know what to do!

    If you need further support, I recommend checking out the design and help center Canva has available to help you with design basics.

    To pause your membership for 1-2 months so you don't lose your current rate, please email us at support@shelbyleigh.co and request a pause.

    Cancel your membership

    To cancel, click this link and follow the steps to log into your student portal where you’ll find a membership cancellation option under Subscriptions.

    PayPal users also have the option to cancel within their own PayPal account. Please note with this option, you will automatically be removed from the Club upon cancellation, so we advise waiting until a day or two before your renewal so you get access to the Club for the entirety of the period you paid for.
